Full Fool Hike

First 2:  morning clouds
Most people might think we're crazy going out on a hike during these brutal days of early June; in our defense we leave early enough to beat the worst of the heat, and we take plenty of shade breaks.  And we bring along water to make sure we all stay hydrated.

All of the above is exactly what we did on this hot morning when we did our regular trek, stopped for water in the shadow of a tall Torrey Yucca, and took many breaks in the shade to keep the Heelers cool.

Nevertheless, we were all more than ready to hop back into the CR-V at the end of the daily hike for the air-conditioned ride home.
