Bad air this morning

Dr. K accompanied Willow, Frio and me on our morning hike today, thinking she'd be able to help in case we had another bad dog encounter. Fortunately, we had no such encounter.
Followed our normal route in hot and somewhat muggy conditions; chance of precipitation was only 1%, though. We need rain incredibly badly.
Seems it's going to be a long, hot summer for us. We'd like to get up to our cabin for some cooler high mountain hikes, but the Lincoln National Forest is closed until July 30th.
