Muggy

Our Swainson's Hawk buddy is back
Late afternoon yesterday and into the night huge winds from outflow boundaries kicked up, raising the hopes of much-needed rain.  Humidity rose steadily.  All sound and fury, though, as we got almost no precipitation.

This morning, before we headed out for our hike, I had to clean the windows on the CR-V which were filthy from "sky spit" and debris.

Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I did our normal hike; we saw nobody out there, though Mr. White Hat's van was parked near the Tellbrook/Sonoma Ranch corner lot.  Most of our conversations centered around high humidity and smoky air.
