Chance of Rain

First 2:  sky at start
According to my weather app there was a chance of rain at 7:30 a.m.  We never felt a drop while we were out there this morning.

Standard hike for Dr. K, Willow, Frio and me:  down LDR-A arroyo, east on the east/west cross trail, up Left Branch, down Middle Branch, up Right Branch and out.

Nice and cool out there today with heavy cloud cover, a slight breeze and high humidity.

I like the photo of the Prickly Pear trying to bloom. I hope we get to see the flower fully bloomed out in the next few days.

Second Trek

Hikers and hounds west of the Organ Mountains 34F when we started our hike on this second day of the new year; fortunately there was no wind...
