Between Showers

First there is a mountain . . .

It was raining when we got up this morning, but by the time we were ready to leave for our daily hike the precip had stopped; of course it looked as if it might start again at any moment.

We lucked out, though, getting to do our normal trek without even being spat upon by the cloudy sky.  Everybody involved appreciated the exercise.

Note:  there was no blog post yesterday because, for whatever reason, I could not upload images to Blogger; I tried repeatedly, but eventually had to give up.
