Even More Rain

Unless otherwise captioned:  rain clouds over the Organs
It began pouring hard just as we were going to bed last night, and it was raining this morning as we prepared to head out for our hike.

The weather app said there'd be clearing around 8:30 a.m. and, sure enough, conditions improved enough for Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I to do two-thirds of our regular trek.

We didn't get wet, but our hiking trousers did get glommed onto by countless grass or weed "booger" seeds that are nearly impossible to get off.  If you pluck them away from the fabric they're attached to they stick to your fingers like rubber cement boogies.

In those last few photos of the sky and mountains, the clouds look like waves. We had such a beautiful sky this morning.
