Cloudy and Cold with Wind

Cloudy morning in the desert
Clouds obscuring the sun and a constant breeze shading toward wind made it feel quite cold out in the desert today, not to mention the 42F temperature that immediately put a chill on us as we hiked our normal route.

We let Willow and Frio off lead for a spell, but put them back on when it looked like they might be overly motivated to chase after something.  Cold weather can energize them that way.

The Heelers were well behaved on the trek today nonetheless, and we all got in some decent exercise on this cold and windy day in the northern Chihuahuan Desert.
