Loggerhead Shrike Again

Tortugas and the Organs (artsy rendition)
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I did our regular hike under somewhat cold conditions; although it was sunny the wind had quite a chilly bite to it.  Heelers didn't mind the change in temperature:  40F at start of outing.

We saw a Loggerhead Shrike in the same area we spotted one last week; I'm guessing it's the same individual, who seems to like that particular hunting ground.  I'm certain it's because of all the sparrows that hang around in Right Branch Arroyo.

Took a short ride around various neighborhoods after the trek.  We noticed that a lot of residents already have lined their rooftops with luminarias for the holiday season.
