This & next 9: cloudy Organ Mountains

We had a one-and-a-half-hour rain delay before getting started on our morning hike today; part of the precipitation came down as a near deluge.
We followed our normal route--very soggy after the downpour--and did it quickly due to cold weather and strong wind. Frio and Willow didn't seem to mind the conditions at all.
It felt good to get back to the relative warmth of the CR-V and even better to reach home and its toasty furnace heat.
