Forest Bushwhacking

Looks to be a House Finch
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I got started fairly early on a forest bushwhack behind our cabin.  We did some climbing, but not nearly as much as yesterday.  We crossed the mountain laterally in a southerly direction, headed up a bit before turning around and going back.

Frio and Willow were off lead almost the whole time and they were very well behaved.  They're sticking near us during the trek, and that gives us grounds for trusting them; however, we haven't had any encounters with wildlife (or domestic life) that might set them off.
