1st 2: same barrel cactus, different perspective

This morning during our hike the weather was quite beautiful; it felt as if we had just emerged from a cold winter into a warm spring day.
A cold front is supposed to move through in the next few days, and it will make it feel much more like fall in the desert.
We followed our usual route today with the Heelers off lead most of the time. They were very well behaved.
