Abbreviated Outing

Cold hedgehog
37F with a windchill of 30F when we started off this morning; but the cold, powerful wind convinced us immediately that we wouldn't be doing our usual hike.  In fact, as soon as we headed down LDR-A arroyo we bushwhacked toward the Organs in order to quickly reach Right Branch Arroyo.

There we were out of the wind briefly, but chilled to the bone.  We decided to abbreviate the hike by heading south up the right branch and climbing the hill just east of the waiting CR-V.

We took a ride after the trek in order to warm up in our vehicle before driving home.
