Hike Reversal

Morning sky
I decided to do a long hike this morning so the "O"s and I bushwhacked out of the northernmost section of the left branch arroyo and headed due east to a hill we descended several days ago:  essentially we were doing the Basset people's trek in reverse.

The heelers loved it because they were off lead again for the duration; and they took full advantage of their freedom.  They didn't mind at all the many photo (91) stops I made in the process.

Got disappointing news after we'd been home for a while; Dr. K called to say that--due to Caroline's ongoing medical complications--she, Dr. K, would be staying in San Francisco for another week in order to help her sister, who was supposed to get out of the hospital last Monday, but is still hospitalized.  Oh well, forced bachelorhood continues.
