Demolition on the Mount

The university is tearing down the two-dome observatory on the mountain
The sign in the first image, which blew over in yesterday's high winds, indicates that construction will be starting atop Tortugas Mountain and lasting for two months.  The university will be demolishing the two-dome observatory up there as well as another building.  If you have any interest in reading about the history of the two observatories at the top (one of which will be preserved and renovated) you can copy and paste the following link.  http://www.lcsun-news.com/story/news/local/2015/11/15/tale-two-mountain-observatories/75670384/
