22 Degrees

Choose which object does not belong
Another cold start for Becca and me this morning; 22 degrees at our place when we left for the mountain.  The conditions were fine for two-thirds of our trek, but then the wind picked up and made things feel colder.  I had to re-zip the unzipped pit-zips on my jacket.  Try saying that fast three times.  There were more hikers on and around the mountain today than yesterday, though we had no direct encounters with any.  I did wave to the trekkers descending the road with their German Shepherd in the lead, the trio Becca spotted way before I did.  All in all it was a good hike, a bit further than the one we took on the previous day.

That photo of the tip of the ocotillo shows how sharp those spines are. Nice design in that photo.
