South Along the Organs

Doing a number on your buddy
It was 23F when we set off for the Sierra Vista Trail this morning.  The problem with hiking in cold weather is it's easy to get overheated from exertion; then you're trying to regulate your body temperature efficiently.  That's why it's important to layer clothing for such a hike.  Layering allows you to remove items of apparel to ensure you cool down correctly.  This morning, though, it stayed so cold during our entire trek that neither Dr. K, Becca nor I took any clothing off.
