The Down Low to the Up High

Early start in the lower desert
Becca and I did a moderately-long hike west of Tortugas Mountain this morning before heading home to finish packing for a Sacramento Mountains trip with Dr. K.  Now we're all up in the high country where Becca had the good fortune of playing for a while with her buddies Champ, Cowboy and Gage.  There was the slightest trace of snow up here, and a bit of snow and ice on the stairs leading into our place.  Since we were here a month ago there's been an inch-and-a-half of precipitation.
