Desert to Mountains

Becca's and my morning started with a hike in the lower desert
Becca and I did a quick trek this morning before returning home to finish packing for our trip to the Sacramento Mountains.  Prior to getting everything ready I had to zip over to Home Depot to buy some drip-line drippers to water five or six of our backyard plants.  After securing the drippers to the line and insuring all plants were getting the requisite amount of water, we got everything together, ate a quick lunch and headed for the high country, where we are now.  I nearly forgot to mention that we had a brief, but intense rainstorm in the low desert before we departed, and it's been rainy and windy up here in the mountains since we arrived.

Flower debris, undoubtedly carried here by ants

I like the photo of the jackrabbit; it almost seems to be posing for you. It's nice to be up in the mountains for a change.
