Heart of the Desert

Becca headed down the single-track
After a moderately long trek west of Tortugas Mountain I made a quick stop at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum to pick up a bottle of wine and green chili pistachios from its gift shop.  On the way out I took some photos of the assorted bovines grazing on the grounds.  I know next to nothing about cows, but there were some beautiful specimens there.  I saw older Longhorns, but I'm not sure the bottom image here is of a younger one.
