That cold front that blew in yesterday delivered on its promise of wintry conditions. Becca and I had to bundle up for a morning trek west of Tortugas Mountain. We saw absolutely nobody trekking in the desert, but upon our return to the car at the trailhead our pal, Jimmy, was just pulling up. Becca was already in the back of the RAV4, but she went bonkers to get at her buddy the J-Man. I had to power the back window down so she could greet him. And then, tripling her good fortune, JC and Olivia pulled in, parked their car, and came over to say hello. Becca was ecstatic. She and I pulled away as Jimmy, JC and Olivia were heading out on a hike together.

I like the photo "Touch of Sand." Your black-and-white experiments are always worthwhile.
