Double Drat!

West of Tortugas Mountain this morning
We were three-quarters of the way through our hike this morning when Becca let out a loud yelp and held her right leg up for me to examine.  I carefully checked the pads on her right paw, but found no sign of a puncture would or bite.  She limped the rest of the way to the car, and I made a call to the vet as soon as we got home to order a prescription of Rimadyl.  Becca will have to be out of trekking circulation for at least a week.  This puts a damper on our plans to head up to the Sacramento Mountains tomorrow.  We'll have to postpone our trip to another time.
