An Amble

Trail back to the Sunset Area
I took Becca to the near side of Tortugas Mountain this morning in order to give her a bit longer jaunt than yesterday.  It was gloomy out there, with a light mist bordering on fog.  I walked her up to the junction of the road and the trail that leads alongside the arroyo on the mountain's sunset side and part way into the arroyo.  There were a few vehicles in the Sunset Area parking lot, but we didn't see anybody until we started back.  We greeted a young woman whose Weimaraner was on a lead, but the dog lunged at Becca.  The slender woman barely restrained him, but there was no real interaction.  Becca handled the whole incident with a cool and collected response.
