Sunny and Breezy Morn

Two slightly different images of a Loggerhead Shrike (#1)
Becca and I got an early start on our morning trek today, and voila--there was sunshine.  There was also a slight persistent breeze to ameliorate the warmth.  All things considered, though, it was pleasant enough for Becca and me to enjoy a moderately long hike.  A few other outdoor enthusiasts were about, but we only bumped into one mountain biker on the west side of Tortugas Mountain.  It was great to see and experience the sunshine this morning after days of clouds and rain.  We're headed for a high of 61F today.

I love those photos of the Loggerhead Shrike, Packrat. It's nice that the sun is finally out.
