Post Hump Ergo Propter Hump

Inside Second Arroyo
On the trail around 8 this morning for a hike up to Second Arroyo and back.  We saw no one going or coming.  Both Frio and Willow enjoyed themselves on this a moderately long trek in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert.

We're headed for a high of 87F today, at least 15 degrees above normal; but a strong cold front is supposed to blow through sometime next week.  I look forward to it, but Dr. K is sorry to see the hot temperatures go.

That little Mesquite Tree with its many bare leaves shows how the season is shifting into Fall.
