A Partial Changeover Day

Doña Ana Mountains
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I trekked up to Second Arroyo, popped in for a shade and water break, and then buswhacked over to First Arroyo before heading west back to LDR.  We saw no other hikers in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert this morning.

When we got back I began the process of changing over from our cooling to our heating system; I disconnected the water line to the evaporative cooler, climbed onto the roof and removed the fan belt from the MasterCool, disconnected the bleeder line and water line, inserted the damper beneath the unit, and drained the water reservoir.  This weekend I'll fire up our gas furnace; we've got some cold nights coming in the next few days.
