Jubilation

Barrel Cactus fruit
Morning trek up to First Arroyo today, and then a bushwhack over to Second Arroyo before heading back.  It was like Grand Central Station in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert today; we ran into several woman/man couples who were either jogging or hiking, a woman running with her white Standard Poodle "Casper," and a guy hiking with his dog.  Actually, we avoided encountering the latter by bushwhacking down to the Tellbrook Arroyo before ascending LDR-A.

The weather was pleasant out there today, though rather warm already; we're headed for a high of 82F.  A cold front is moving in, though, and temps are supposed to be significantly cooler beginning Monday morning; and there's a chance of rain.
