C'è Vento

Trekking down LDR-A
Up to First Arroyo and back on this very windy morning in the northern Chihuahuan Desert.  Had it been somewhat cold we (Dr. K and I) would have frozen our butts off, but it was surprisingly warm and the humidity was extraordinarily high.  The wind is supposed to strengthen later today and become even worse tomorrow.

We saw absolutely no one during our outing today, and that's how we humans like it.  The Heelers are less persnickety, though, and they don't mind seeing others--especially others of the animal variety.
