Bit of Bad Air

First 3:  same Barrel Cactus
Up to Second Arroyo and back on this warm morning in the northern Chihuahuan Desert; heading for a high of 82F, at least 15 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Perhaps due to a temperature inversion the air seemed slightly worse today than yesterday, and it hasn't been particularly windy over the past few days.

The Heelers were happy to get back into their element today, hiking dirt roads and lying in sandy arroyos after their baths yesterday.

That rattlesnake stick looks like a real rattlesnake. I bet snakes are still around because it's been so hot. Something to be careful about.
