Trekked up to First Arroyo this morning, popped in for a drink and short respite, and then climbed out of the arroyo onto the south ridge where we followed an animal trail southwest back to LDR.

It was much warmer out there today, and for outwear I wore a lightweight warmup jacket.  Frio and Willow wore their everyday coats.

We saw nobody in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert during our outing.
