Inside Second Arroyo

During this morning's hike up to Second Arroyo and back we encountered no other outdoor enthusiasts in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert.

Inside the arroyo, though, we said hello to Jerry Garcia and formally introduced the Heelers to him; they didn't seem enthused about the meeting.  Very difficult to get two antsy dogs to stand still long enough to get a photo as proof of their get-together.

The weather was nice for today's trek, though a bit warm on the inbound leg.  We're headed for 75F this afternoon.
