Hace Viento Hoy

Choo choo clouds
Almost didn't bring the daypack with water for the dogs and us this morning because it was so windy out we didn't know if we'd stop for a drink.  We weren't even sure we'd trek all the way up to First Arroyo, but we did.  Stopped there briefly for a quaff of cool agua.  Because the temperature was fairly warm (61F) the wind didn't have much of a bite.

Of course we were the only intrepid explorers in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert today; most nature enthusiasts probably decided to stay away.

Willow and Frio didn't mind the weather conditions at all, though, trekking merrily along as if it were just another day in paradise.
