Beautiful Desert

This & the next:  views while heading down LDR-A

Willow, Frio and I hiked up to Second Arroyo early this morning, stopped in for a break--during which we drank water and took photos (well, I did)--and then headed back on LDR into the upper flatland.

We saw no other nature enthusiasts while we were out there, but once we had crested the incline into the flatland I saw Terry and Pamela's Jeep.  No sign of them, though.

The ride home was pleasant, especially so because no construction work was happening in the stretch above Noche Bella Loop; that will change soon enough, though.
