The big winds of yesterday had pretty much dissipated by this morning, although there was a substantial breeze at times while Willow, Frio and I were trekking through the desert.

We chose a different route today, descending the LDR-A arroyo to the Tellbrook Arroyo, crossing that arroyo to follow a track northward through adjoining arroyos on a journey we've taken quite a few times in the past.

We intersected one of the major arroyos that flows out of Tortugas Mountain and took it to the road Becca and I hiked along often on our sojourns.  Once atop that road we three amigos turned around and retraced our steps, Willow doing an outstanding job of leading us back.

When we were in the Tellbrook Arroyo again we found the entrance to the new arroyo and trekked southward on it to the Right Branch Arroyo, which we used to exit the area.
