Better By a Lot

Tops of the Doña Ana Mountains
Much better behavior from the Heelers this morning, especially from Willow, who, fortunately, spotted no critters to assault.

Nice hike under pleasant conditions today, and even though it was 39F at start the absence of wind made it feel warmer; add brilliant sunshine to the mix and the weather felt just perfect for mid-March.

We followed our normal route exploring the various branches of the arroyo I continue to call "new."  I have a feeling our new area is going to be beautiful as soon as spring flowers begin to pop.

Nice photo of the sunlight coming through the Prickly Pear pad. And, of course, cute photos of our Heelers.
