Interlopers

Frio and Willow on break
This morning a tan Jeep with a cargo carrier was parked very close to where we leave the CR-V near the trailhead.  From the partition in the back of the Jeep I surmised that the owner had a dog or dogs.

We saw the guy (big man with a black beard) and a dog as we were descending LDR-A arroyo, and the two interlopers (kidding) were heading back on LDR.  Later, while we were ascending Left Branch Arroyo I saw the guy on the top of the hill near his vehicle scoping out the territory; I'm fairly certain he saw us.

The guy and his canine were long gone by the time we headed up Right Branch Arroyo and climbed the hill out.  Stopped briefly on the crest to eye the Organ Mountains and make an assessment of how much Black Fire smoke we'll have to deal with today.  A lot!  It's supposed to get even worse in the coming few days.

X marks the spot

It's going to get even smokier than this
