Beautiful Sunday Morning

First 5:  images of the Organ Mountains
The weather was extremely pleasant when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I did our morning hike today.  Adding to the pleasurable conditions was the excellent behavior of our two Heelers, who, on an extended period of off-lead trekking, never once misbehaved.  They received a copious amount of mini treats for their comportment.

We did our regular hike, seeing and hearing no one until we crested the steep hill next to the right branch arroyo and noticed five or six vehicles parked in the lot at the corner of Tellbrook and Sonoma Ranch.  It might have been a meeting of Search and Rescue personnel, but no dogs appeared to be in their company.
