Brilliant Pups

Long view across the valley
Heelers and I (sans Dr. K) did our usual hike this morning.  I let Willow and Frio off lead as soon as we turned east on the cross trail over to the new arroyo.  They were free all the way up the left branch, down the middle branch, and up the right branch.  Their behavior was exemplary.

Because it was sunny without much wind the 42F temperature didn't feel bad at all.  It had warmed to 50F by the time we exited Right Branch Arroyo over the steep hill and got back to the CR-V.

We had an excellent outing today, made even more pleasant by the good comportment of the Heelers.
