Another Wind Event

Sky over Ocotillos
It felt warm even though there were plenty of clouds to block the sun during our hike this morning.  The wind had just edged by the breezy category while we were following our usual route.  This afternoon, though, we're supposed to get gusts reaching 50 mph with the possibility of blowing sand.  Springtime in the desert is often characterized by high winds.

After our trek we all drove over to the local Circle K to gas up the CR-V.  When we got home I checked the pressure in each tire and washed all the windows.  I never do a good job of window washing; no matter how hard I work at it there are always streaks left behind.
