Fairly Pleasant Trek

Barrel Cactus
Willow, Frio and I did a usual hike this morning without Dr. K who's in Tucson for the book festival.  We had a pleasant hike even though the temperature when we started off was 29F.  Fortunately there was plenty of sunshine and no wind.

We didn't see anybody while we were out there, not even any notable critters.  Just as well because I would probably have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get decent photos.

Came straight home to discover we had almost no water pressure in the house.  When I called utilities dispatch I was told there's a planned outage on the street one block east of us from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but they were surprised it was affecting our house.  Thanks for the notice people.

I really like that second photo of the Faxon Yucca. And the Heelers look so cute in that last photo.
