Near Total Rainout

Haynes Canyon
Gale-force winds all night yesterday, and half an inch of driving rain.  Willow and Frio got completely muddy when they went out to do their business this morning, and for the longest time it seemed as if we wouldn't be able to get them out for an exploration around our property here in the Sacramento Mountains.

We did get to do a short perambulation in the forest near the cabin during which the "O"s nearly tore my arms out of their sockets as they pursued something Dr. K and I didn't see.  We climbed the mountain behind our place for a bit longer before turning around.

This & next:  clouds and mountains
