Bitingly Cold Wind

Cloudy Organ Mountains
34F with a windchill of 22F when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I set off on our hike this morning.  The wind was brutal.  I made conditions worse by stopping to take 60 photos along the way.

We managed to do the entire trek, but we were frozen by the time we returned to the sheltered warmth of the CR-V.  I cranked the heater up for the short ride home, and when we got there we didn't want to step outside of the vehicle.

Nevertheless we got in some good exercise while observing the partially snowy visages of our nearby mountains.

You took some spectacular photos on this freezing morning, Packrat. My favorite image is the first one (Cloudy Organ Mountains).
