Blue Skies in Places

Soaptree Yucca and Ocotillo
Much of the sky was overcast during our morning trek today, but a few areas of blue showed through.

Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I followed our usual route in fairly pleasant weather despite the milky sunlight.  At least there was no wind.

Two-thirds of the way up the right branch arroyo we saw the man and woman who hike with their Bassets on the ridgeline east of us; we heard an occasional bark from the hounds.  They were the only people/canines we spotted out there today.
