Heat Haze

Yucca monster in LDR-A arroyo
It was just shy of 80F when we set off this morning, and the trek was nearly brutal due to the heat.  Plenty of bright sunshine, very little breeze and no cloud cover made for bad conditions.

Because of the heat we only did our regular route with no additional yardage.  The hot weather sapped our energy pretty quickly.

All three of us were glad to have the hike come to a conclusion today.
