Sunrise Side


It was already pretty toasty when Research Associate Becca and I made our way to the far side of Tortugas Mountain for our morning research. Our first stop was to take this photo looking up the mountain's east side.
Then this especially green bush caught our eye.
These brilliant yellow flowers cried out for a photo-op.
We took our first water break near these small caves.
And finally, we took another photo of the heavy smog layer surrounding the Franklin Mountains near El Paso.
