Perfectly Awful Hike

Along the western flank of Tortugas Mountain
I don't mean to keep complaining about flies (Why did God make them again?) but they're absolutely driving us crazy during our hikes--especially during today's trek; from start to finish we were absolutely pestered by them.  I have never seen it this bad during the spring here in the Chihuahuan Desert.  As you can see from the video below, Becca has a real anger-management problem when it comes to the winged pests. I also found myself getting really mad at these darned insects.

Becca has caught flies before, and then she makes a face when she tries to eat them.
