Fine Weather Hike

Becca turns to look back up the mountain
The weather couldn't have been any better for our hike this morning:  sunny skies, slight breeze, temperature in the mid-50s.  We didn't see anybody trekking along any of the trails, but people were driving the road to the top of the mountain.  A couple of them--workers in an ATV--waved at us.  I waved back.  Becca didn't.  They must have made several trips up and down because we could hear their vehicle even when we were miles distant from the mountain.
Some vehicle is traversing the road to the top of Tortugas

Staring at a bug during a sandy respite

An arroyo that runs through the valley

Really curious about who's driving the mountain road

It's these two NMSU workers headed for the mountaintop
