Fine Weather Hike

Becca turns to look back up the mountain

The weather couldn't have been any better for our hike this morning:  sunny skies, slight breeze, temperature in the mid-50s.  We didn't see anybody trekking along any of the trails, but people were driving the road to the top of the mountain.  A couple of them--workers in an ATV--waved at us.  I waved back.  Becca didn't.  They must have made several trips up and down because we could hear their vehicle even when we were miles distant from the mountain.
