Rim Trail Numero Tres

Exploring a section of the Rim Trail (T 105)
We were going to stop at Parking Area #1 and hike the first section of the Rim Trail this morning, but there were already three cars there.  People were parked at the second area, too, so we drove all the way to #4.  Instead of hiking toward Sunspot like we did yesterday we hiked in the direction of Cloudcroft.  Despite all the cars at the various parking areas we ran into nobody during our hike.  We did a moderately-long trek, not nearly as long as yesterday's.  The temperature wasn't as cool as yesterday.  Forecasts are for a heat wave this week.
