Long Hump-Day Hike

Way up ahead
While it was only 25F this morning, there was no wind, and the warm sunshine made it a beautiful day for a long hike around the outer "outer" loop road; that is, the loop road furthest west of Tortugas Mountain.   The only person we ran into was a young guy hiking down near Geothermal, and he was sweating quite profusely.  Becca thoroughly enjoyed our trek; I can personally attest to that fact.
