Perfect Weather for Hiking

Three days past full
Mid-50s, slight breeze, brilliant sun--couldn't ask for better conditions for a long Sunday morning hike.  Dr. K, Becca and I went two-thirds of the way around Tortugas and back again.  Not surprisingly we ran into outdoor enthusiasts:  eleven mountain bikers (only two of whom we encountered directly), and three people with four dogs; all the dogs (except Becca) were on leads.  Becca obediantly lay off trail waiting for all to pass.  Great morning to be outside getting a great workout.
Eager to get behind the mountain

Coming up the trail behind us

Perfect day for mountain biking, too
