Moving On

Joaquin left this message behind
The homeless man (Joaquin) was gone from his spot on the trail this morning, but he left this rather touching message behind.  Another lost soul.  Becca and I did a moderately-long hike in near-record temperatures this morning, with me lamenting the premature demise of colder temps.  Spring and summer will come soon enough.  A cold front is supposed to push through tomorrow, but it's only going to drop temperatures into the low 60s.

I hope Juaquin will be okay. I like the bird's eye view of Becca as she crouches down.

I like the bird's-eye view alongside Becca, too, Dr. K. And, I hope Joaquin will be OK; he certainly sounds like a lost soul. Since he loves Tortugas, he certainly must have his head screwed-on at least partially right, verdad?

Es verdad, Scott. Joaquin seemed to have his head screwed on right--a very articulate young man. Not what we generally expect from homeless people.
